The biggest downside to Fastweb, in my opinion, is that they make you register with your personal information before you can begin searching. While this isn’t a high barrier of entry and likely won’t deter many people from using their site, it is a bit unsettling to give away your personal information when you’re still uncertain about whether or not Fastweb can really help you .

2. College Board

If scholarships are your only option for college financing, the College Board might be able to help. They have a search engine that allows you to narrow down your list of scholarships by state, college, and type of scholarship. The search engine is easy to use and provides students with a quick way to look for scholarships specific to the state where they want to attend school.

If you’re looking for general scholarships, the College Board has an extensive database of scholarships offered by all sorts of organizations, from banks and corporations all the way down to local chapters of the American Heart Association .

Unfortunately, this database includes many scholarships that don’t require students to have any sort of GPA or test scores.
